Scrapbook Creations and Scrapbooking Memories

Just a little message to all my friends in the Creative world out there:

Yes, I am featured in this month’s Scrapbook Creations in the Who’s who section and as most of you know I have recently started working as Technical Editor for Scrapbooking Memories magazine.

Please keep in mind that the magazines work three – four months ahead of schedule so I was commissioned for SC about 5 months ago for this feature, I also have a few more projects in both magazines that were commissioned prior to me commencing my job at SM… Thanks for understanding! :-) And here are my projects featured in the Who’s who !

A sneak peek…

Well I must say I am LOVING  my new job… I am overwhelmed and surrounded by inspiration and creativity… I am settling in pretty good ( I think/hope) LOL and they seem to like me too :-)

I am really really excited about a couple of other things happening… firstly I have been asked to teach a digi class at SIA (Scrapbook Industry Australia) trade show this year so I am really looking forward to that… and secondly I have just booked my tickets/hotel to Brisbane in April with Jane Clark, who is not only VERY creative and talented but also a fantastic friend! We are really excited it will be like a “girls” weekend away LOL.. we have even hired a car so we can go and check out the crafty and junk stores up there so if you can recommend any that would be FAB!

I have been doing a little creative work also… here is a sneak peek of a project that I have created for Memories that Last in Liverpool.

Next week I am out and about… off to Newcastle on Friday afternoon to check out the craft show for a couple of hours before I head off to Maitland to Scrappin Divas… I am joining in the crop night on Friday night with the gorgeous girls Vicky and Farrel and the divine Miss Sarah Gladman! I love spending time with these ladies! Then on Saturday I am teaching two classes there… one is a “floating frame” class and the other is a ‘digi” class… here are some sneak peeks of those too.

Nature Boyand the new job is going great… they have made me feel so welcome, I am still on cloud 9 about getting my dream job, so I am officially now …. Technical Editor of Scrapbooking Memories magazine!  I would like to thank everyone for the words of support and wishes, it was overwhelming and I feel blessed to know so many wonderful people! xx

A phone call can change your life…

and I got one such phone call yesterday afternoon. I have been asked to join the fabulous Editorial team at Scrapbooking Memories… a dream job for any papercrafter and I feel so blessed and lucky to have this opportunity, I am so excited and cannot wait to start this week!   The downside is that I have to retire from my Manufacturer Design Teams, Twiddleybitz and Rasberry.  I have posted a note here on the Twiddleybitz site and Sheena will be posting something for me shortly on the Rasberry site.

I would like to thank EVERYONE who has given me their support and best wishes, it means so much to me.
